How ordering works
Every custom piece follows the same general path:
- Submit your order. Share your idea, timing, and any photos or inspiration through our order form, email, or another channel we use for your project.
- We review the details. We check spelling, sizing, colors, materials, and feasibility for your item and timeline.
- Follow-up if needed. We reach out before production when anything needs clarification.
- Confirmation & payment. Pricing, payment or deposit terms, and timing are confirmed before we start. A request is not accepted until those details are approved.
- Proof when applicable. Some packages include a design proof. See Design proofs & revisions for approval timing.
- Production & handoff. We finish your order and coordinate pickup or local delivery as confirmed.
You are responsible for spelling, names, initials, dates, colors, sizing, and design direction. Longer names or complex layouts may require adjustments to fit your item.
Prompt replies keep projects on schedule. We may reach you by email, phone, text, Instagram, or HubSpot form.
Care instructions
With sensible care, your personalization should look great for everyday use.
- Permanent vinyl is standard unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Textured or pebbled plastic trunks and similar surfaces may not hold vinyl as reliably as smooth surfaces. We flag concerns when we see them; adhesion can vary by material.
- Avoid dragging items, bags, or gear across applied decals.
- Avoid excessive abrasion, harsh scrubbing, or abrasive cleaners on vinyl lettering or graphics.
- Handle with care during transport, storage, and camp or event use—edges and corners are most vulnerable.
Colors in photos, mockups, and on-screen previews may differ slightly from finished vinyl. Material and color availability can change.
Bulk orders
Planning shirts for a team, group gifts, or multiple camp trunks? We welcome bulk orders when our schedule allows.
- Contact us early with quantity, need-by date, and design direction.
- Consistent artwork across items works best—share one approved layout or proof when possible.
- Pricing reflects size, complexity, color count, and turnaround; we confirm totals before production.
- Group turnaround is an estimate until confirmed in writing.
- Rush timing may be available; rush fees may apply (Rush orders).

Pickup & delivery
- Free delivery in the Lake Highlands area when confirmed at order time and when our schedule allows.
- Pickup by arrangement when your order is complete; we share details when your piece is ready.
- Delivery outside Lake Highlands may be discussed case by case.
Delivery and pickup windows are estimates. Weather, traffic, and studio load can affect timing.
Design proofs & revisions
When your package includes a proof, we invest real design time to get your layout right.
Please share as much detail as possible up front—names, spelling, colors, themes, sizing, photos, and inspiration help us nail the first round.
- Proofs and mockups are visual approximations; final placement, size, and color may vary slightly in production.
- When a proof is required, production begins after your approval. Delays in approval may delay completion.
- Additional proof revisions beyond your package may incur a fee, quoted before we proceed.
- Reasonable revisions may be included depending on your package. Changes after approval may add cost and time; changes after production starts may be limited or unavailable.

Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to custom and personalized goods from Marleson & Ry. They may be updated from time to time. By placing an order or submitting a request, you agree to the terms in effect at the time of your order.
Returns & refunds
Custom and personalized items are generally final sale because they are made to your specifications.
If something does not look right or you have a concern, contact us promptly at manda@marlesonandry.com so we can review the situation. Each case is considered based on the work performed, approval record, and circumstances.
We do not guarantee replacement of customer-provided items if customization cannot be completed as requested due to material limitations or pre-existing flaws.
Rush orders
Need it fast? We've got you—when our calendar allows.
Rush timing generally means:
- Need-by date under 7 days for standard production work, or
- Need-by date under 14 days when custom proof or design work is required.
Rush requests are not guaranteed until we confirm availability in writing. Rush work may require a minimum fee of $5 or a 15% surcharge on the order, whichever is greater, as quoted at confirmation.
Lead time for non-rush orders begins after required details, payment or deposit, and proof approval (when applicable) are complete. Stated turnaround times remain estimates unless we confirm otherwise.
Damage disclaimer
Customization depends on the item, surface, and how it is used after delivery. To set clear expectations:
- Marleson & Ry is not responsible for vinyl lifting, peeling, or wear caused by surface texture, incompatible materials, normal use, or customer misuse after pickup or delivery.
- We are not responsible for damage from improper installation when the customer or a third party applies decals we did not install.
- If you provide an item for customization, we are not responsible for pre-existing flaws, manufacturer defects, or material limitations discovered during production.
- Customization on unusual surfaces carries inherent risk; we will advise when we see concerns, but results can vary.

Design & copyright policy
- We will not reproduce protected artwork (including logos, characters, team marks, or licensed designs) without permission you can document.
- You are responsible for having the rights to use any names, artwork, logos, or designs you submit.
- We may decline or cancel requests that appear to involve copyrighted, trademarked, or licensed content we cannot verify.
Reasonable revisions may be included depending on your package. Additional changes after approval may add cost and time. Changes after production starts may be limited or unavailable.

We put a lot of love and time into creating custom design proofs when your package includes them.

Donations & sponsorships
Marleson & Ry loves supporting our local community when studio capacity allows. We receive many worthwhile requests and cannot accommodate every one.
- Donation, discount, and sponsorship requests are reviewed case by case based on timing, scope, and current workload.
- Submitting a request does not guarantee approval, partial sponsorship, or a specific discount.
- Please include your organization name, event or cause, need-by date, and what you are hoping we can provide.
- Approved donations or sponsorships are provided at our discretion and do not create an ongoing obligation for future requests.

Orders & acceptance
Marleson & Ry creates custom vinyl and personalized goods. Your order is confirmed only after details, pricing, timing, and payment terms are reviewed and approved by us.
Pricing & payment
Pricing may vary based on size, materials, complexity, turnaround, and requested changes. Payment or deposit requirements are confirmed before production. Orders may not begin until those requirements are met.
Turnaround
All turnaround and delivery timing shared before confirmation are estimates unless we state otherwise in writing.
Use of photos
We may photograph completed work for portfolio, website, or social media unless you request otherwise in writing before your order is finished.
Changes to these terms
We may update this page from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version.
